Day 1 in London

Day 1 in London is so exciting!!! (and scary) I have been waiting for this day for a very long time, and I am finally hereeeeee....... yay!!!! We went out to visit a fresh food market and was amazed at how cheap fresh food is here. A big bowl of grapes, or a bowl of 10 bananas, or a bowl of 8 mandarines....each cost just 1 pound! Even a tube of Original Pringles ( my favourite) cost only a pound here.

We also walked around the Marylebone / Baker Street area to soak in the sights of London. Stumbled upon the Beatles Shop, and the Shelock Holmes Museum....which is pretty interesting :). Also manage to find a free art gallery nearby.....love how many galleries and museums in London are free to enter :)

Also wandered to Oxford Street- the main shopping street of London City....reminds me very much of Bourke Street in Melbourne, only much bigger, longer and buzier....the "feel" of London is in fact very similar to Australia...dont think we will get homesick at all :)
