The Beauty of a Peacock

Not often do you get a chance to watch and be awed by a Peacock.......so close...we got this chance during our trip to Leeds Castle.

 

 

Leeds Castle

We took a free weekend to explore a beautiful castle with MR. AC. One of the great things about UK is that there are apparently over 1000 castles.......many of them in ruins.....but a few (like Leeds Castle) have been restored and taken care of beautifully..

 

 

 

The castle is set on grounds full of birds....

and beautiful flowers...

 

 

Trip to Cologne with Friends

Took the opportunity to meet up our Australian friends in Cologne.......a relaxed trip in a small town was good for us...here are some sights we saw.....guess who was the center of attention :)

And last but not least.....German food...our friend seem to be enjoying his pig bone too much :)
