RECAP 2012 - Croatia - BEAUTIFUL Plitvice Lakes National Park

Till this day this is our favourite park in the world......Situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UNESCO World Heritage park is famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. The 16 surface lakes are renowned for their colors (green, grey or blue) and are rich in biodiversity.

On this day we had a range of weather (snow, drizzling rain, cloudy skies and a little sunshine)....but this made this day special.....

 

RECAP 2012 - Croatia - Rastoke Village

The beautiful village of Crotia is a flashback to what life use to be like many years ago.....we were extremely blessed to visit this cute little town surrounded by water...

 

On our return leg from the lakes, we stopped at the town to have a nice crotian meal. yummy...
