Gordon Ramsay Petrus Restaurant

It's been a while since our last post (sorry)....we have been really busy travelling in October (updates later)...but can't help to talk about our recent lunch meal at Petrus (the number 1 restaurant in London on Tripadvisor!)

Ms D friend (who loves to eat) was commenting that we should take advantage of the awesome food in London (and the huge amount of Michelin Starred restaurants in London that are still reasonably priced).

Without having much expectations....we were wonderfully satisfied and happy with our £30 pound set meal (guys in Oz are truly missing out here).

ENJOY....yum....makes my tummy hungry again!!

Newest form of transport in London

Photos of the Emirates Air Line (also known as the Thames cable car). This is a cable car link across the River Thames in London where we get views of Canary Wharf and 02 (our favourite concert arena).

London Olympics - Mens Football Gold Medal Match

Being privilege enough to tickets to the 'Men's Gold Medal Match' we were anticipating a entertaining and high standard of football....and expected Brazil to beat Mexico!!! So we enlisted a brazilian to join us and borrowed a brazilian flag and shirt as paraphernalia for the game........

The atmosphere was great....and the fans were passionate.....the stadium were full and the game started!!! But 2 minutes into the game....disaster....Mexico scored and that signalled the end of Brazil's dream of winning their first 'gold medal' for football in the olympics........Mexico were better on the day and made good use of the ball when they had the possession.....in the end the score ended 2-1 in Mexico's favour....

We saw the medal ceremony which also include the Koreans (who received a bronze for beating Japan).

And then all made our way home....on the London tube......in fact most people were and thus this made it a long slow process!!!
