Sailing down the Thames in a Tall Ship

Went for a sailing trip down the famous Thames river in a Tall Ship!!!
Part of the 'Sail Royal Greenwich' fleet we were on privilege to be on the Zephyr..

We are constantly amazed at the spectacles in and around London.....just want to share about the recent additions in our backyard (near where we stay).....staying in the docklands area near canary wharf (also know as Isle of Dogs or the rich part of E14)...

As part of the olympic games...the rich and famour are here....and so are the tall ships...

Tall Ship - Clipper Stad Amsterdam

One of the 10 or so tall ships that are here during the olympics....we are excited to experience one of the ships this week as part of the cruise event...

Being part of the olympic games!!!

As the London Olympic games approaches.......we can see that the capital is now busy and full of buzzz.....not only are we going to be part of the games (going to volleyball and football matches).....we had our own chance to hold the olympic torch not too long ago!! There are around 8000 torches made (one for each runner)....so the one we held must be one of the 8000!!! Wish I could own one...but it cost around £3000 pounds on ebay for a used one! (from the runners who are selling up)
