A walk along the red light district of Amsterdam is a real eye opener for us. There are shops on both sides of the river with big glass windows, and literally, a red light. In some of the glass windows, there are ladies in bikinis parading themselves, luring customers to do business. We also wandered through the hidden alleys where there are just glass windows on both sides of the road, and big guys (we assume the girls' bodyguards) standing around to protect the ladies from unruly customers.

In Amsterdam, there are also "coffee shops" in which apparently you can smoke weed. Weed is legal in Amsterdam. We saw a few around but TT would not allow us to check out the insides of these "coffee shops". This is one which we saw in the red light district - a starking blue that stands out amongst the other reds.
