The Quick Way Around Brugge - by Boat and Horse-Drawn Carriage

Boat Ride
We did the touristy stuff in Bruge – the ride on the horse drawn carriage around the streets of Brugge, and the river boat on the canals. The boat trip was really enjoyable – looking at Brugge from a different view, houses with beautiful flowers facing the canal, people sitting on open-air cafes that are facing the water, and beautiful natural scenary as well.

The boats that takes people around Brugge city

we saw a group of people touring on wheels

This is suppose to be the most expensive hotel in Brugge, where celebrity stays
There are nice bridges like this all along the river

Carriage Ride
The horse drawn carriage ride which cost about 35Euro per carriage was another highlight of the trip. We did the whole city of Bruge in 30 minutes, rather than the few hours it would have taken us if we had chosen to walked, although there were times where me or one of my aunts felt like we were almost falling out of the carriage. The horsewoman  was very friendly and was trying to tell us the history / story of the places we passed.

Half through the journey, the horse stopped to rest and had some food.

We rode past many shops and there where a couple of streets that focused on lace shops – apparently stuff made out of lace is a typical present from travellers in Brugge.
