A Hyper-Japan experience in London

Hyper Japan - A Japanese festival in London. We were pleasantly surprised at how many of the visitors takes the festival as an opportunity to dress up as Pikachu or some other Japanese Manga character.  Surprised how much effort some people put it.....

We took part in a Sushi competition (as judges), where for a small fee, visitors are given 5 sushi from 5 different chefs / Japanese restaurants....and we vote for our favourite sushi. Must say that the sushi are quite special with unique taste and sauces.

There were also other types of Japanese food on sale there, plenty of japanese clothes, Manga figurines and DVDs.....everything Japanese.

Our favourite part of the festival is the Manga drawing potraits.....we had our potraits done twice by 2 different manga-ist, to see how we'll look like as cartoon characters......CUTE, aren't we?  :):)
