I think this park only got its character only after Disney bought Pixar a few years ago as this is a very Pixar themed park. We queued up for a whole hour to meet the cast of Toy Story 3 and to take some pictures with Woody and Buzz, the favourite characters of our nephews back home (we queued the longest for anything related to Toy Story....they have such a big FAN base!!!)
We also had a photo with the friendly monster from Monsters Inc... and Incredibles
The rides are heaps of found - Aerosmith Train is one of the first roller coaster we took in Disneyworld - Fast, very fast,,,,The Tower of Terror is also in this park....a free fall drop from the 20th floor....we unfortunately didn't have the stamina to do it....think our hearts are starting to get a bit too old for these sorta stuff.
There were also many stunt shows (indiana jones and a car stunt show), street parades, beauty and the beast musical and rides that showed the history our Walt Disney....
For an eating place, we ate at 'The Hollywood Brown Derby'....this gave us a guaranteed ticket to Fantasmic........(which basically allowed us to go through another entrance earlier than the general public).
I guess for us, there were two main highlights of this park...
The first is a ride/game called Toy Story Mania (an interactive, competitive ride/game where you play against each other ....these are the scores of one of our competition......no prize for guessing who is the winner.....the lady of course...NOT!!). This is the most popular game in the park - lines are always more than 1.5 hours long....we went 4 times in total. :):)
n Lastly T won....(no picture)
The second highlight of this park was Fantasmic. It was a light, water and fire show which rivals the light and fireworks show in Magic Kingdom. You really have to get in early for this show in order to get a seat (even though the seating area is very big).
