The best part about Animal Kingdom is that they have their own safari in the park!!! With real life giraffes, cheetahs, rhino, hippo, gazelles roaming in their own section of the park... ... (well not as great as Africa itself but good enough for those that haven't been there) ....the most amazing moment for us was when a giraffe came just right beside our vehicle and stared at us. We took this safari 4 times across our two days we were at this park!!!

There's also an underwater hippo viewing area where we can see the hippos...they are amazing big creatures...and it was enjoyable seeing them underwater, even thou they barely move.
In the middle of Animal Kingdom, is a big tree call the "Tree of Life"....and underneath this tree is a 3D show of Bugs Life....it is a show where there are crawlly insects crawling all over you during the show, and so called robot spiders dropping down from the ceiling to try and scare you ...all part of the 3D show with an added dimension of touch.
One of the other shows that I really liked is the Lion King show (see videos below)...where there are acrobats performing as part of the show. The Finding Nemo musical is also a popular one, telling the whole story of the daddy angel fish looking for its one-finned young in the form of a musical. :)
One of our meals was lunch at Coral Reaf Restaurant. The great thing about this place was that it was a restaurant which had view of the aquarium......so basically we dines with the fishes.....again popular and hard to get a place if you try and book late!
We also visited the Animal Kingdom Lounge (one of Disney's hotel resort) for an African meal at 'Jiko the cooking place'....one of the best meals in Disney (we were privilege to get free meals as part of our accomodation and SO we tried and DINED at the best places).
The resort is cool in the sense that it has its own African animal park...where you can see zebras and bufallo around the resort, roaming in the wide open grass land.
